The petitioner seeks bail in Dawath P.S. case No. 144 of 2019 registered under Section u/s 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

The informant alleged that he got information that Santosh Prasad and his accomplice were indulged in illicit trade of liquor. On such, a raid was conducted and 75 liters of different brands of liquor were recovered from the house of Santosh Prasad. Besides liquor, Rs. 67,220/- was also recovered. The petitioner is said to be accomplice of Santosh Prasad. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Santosh Prasad and other accused persons have already been granted bail. The petitioner is in custody since 10.12.2019. The

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Dawath P.S. case No. 144 of 2019.
