Petitioners seek bail in a case under Section 414, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the I.P.C.

The police raided the village and two Bolero jeeps were recovered from the houses of the petitioners, namely Ashok Kumar Yadav and Vikram Sah.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42467 of 2014 (3) dt.18-02-2015 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have purchased the said Bolero jeeps from one Sajjan Kumar. Similarly the other Bolero jeep was purchased. It is further submitted that the petitioners have got no knowledge that the vehicles were stolen one.

Learned A.P.P., on the other hand, submits that the transfer deeds of the vehicles were found to be forged and fake. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioners had purchased the vehicles having no knowledge of its stolen one, and that the petitioners have already remained in jail for about 7 months and also that they have no criminal antecedent, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Chanpatia P.S.Case No,.214 of 2014.
