Petitioner is in custody in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 586/2018 for the offence under sections 30(a), 31, 35, 38, 41, 56(D) of Bihar Prohibition Amendment Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case total 928 liters of liquor was seized from car and tractor.

Learned counsel submits that petitioner has no concern with the tractor or car from where liquor was seized. He submits that he is neither owner of the vehicles nor owner of the

Petitioner is in custody since 31.10.2018.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and has remained in custody for nearly four months, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Judge, West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 586 of 2018. (Anil Kumar Upadhyay, J) Ravi/- U
