This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Araria PS Case No. 714 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 457/380 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that for the same occurrence another case bearing Araria PS Case No. 715 of 2018 has also been lodged against the petitioner. He further submits that co-accused Md. Imteeyaz @Md. Imteejaz Akhtar has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 6831 of 2019 vide order dated 06.02.2019. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8904 of 2019(2) dt.14-02-2019 2/2 accused has been granted bail and the petitioner is languishing in jail since 23.10.2018, this Court by maintaining the parity is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application is allowed.
Accordingly, let the petitioner above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of C.J.M. Araria in connection with Araria PS Case No. 714 of 2018.
