Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, having regard to the fact that the petitioner is having an alternative and efficacious remedy of approaching the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) under Section 42(v) of the Electricity Act, 2003, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the present case. The present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the parties granting the liberty to the petitioner to approach the CGRF within a period of four weeks from today. In case any complaint

Patna High Court CWJC No.2738 of 2024(13) dt.18-11-2024 2/2 filed by the petitioner, the same shall be dealt with in accordance with law and the authorities shall endeavour to pass necessary orders as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the application made by the petitioner. It is needless to mention that before passing any orders, the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing. Any order passed shall be communicated to the petitioner.

3. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
