JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-02-2026 Heard Mr. Abhishek along with Mr. Binod Kumar Sinha, learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Tripurari Nath Ambastha, learned SC 26 for the State.

2. The petitioner in paragraph no. 1 of the present writ petition has sought inter alia following relief(s), which is reproduced hereinafter:- "A. For directing the Respondent No.4 to make payment of amount of Award No.62 'Ka' to the petitioner, which has been prepared in Land Acquisition Case No.16 of 2011-12 initiated for acquisition of the land of the petitioner for construction of Patna Sahib Railway Over bridge by

B. For directing the Collector, Patna to consider and decide the representation dated 01.11.2025 filed by the petitioner by highlighting the issue regarding non-payment of amount of compensation as determined by the Land Acquisition Officer, Patna in Land Acquisition Case No.16 of 2011-12 and accordingly Award No.62 'Ka' has been prepared in favour of the petitioner. C. For directing the respondent Authorities to pay the amount of compensation of Rs.4,03,750 with interest from the date of preparation of Award No.62 'Ka' to the petitioner. D. For grant of any other relief or reliefs as Your Lordships may found entitled too."

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that for the reliefs as prayed for in the present writ petitioner, the petitioner has filed a detailed representation before the District Magistrate, Patna along with the papers relating to his title over the land, which has been acquired for the development of Railway Over Bridge, Patna Sahib.

4. The District Magistrate, Patna must forthwith take steps to consider the application of the petitioner and direct the District Land Acquisition Officer to make payment of the due compensation amount in accordance with law by co-operating the petitioner in getting filled up all the requisite forms required for the said purpose.

5. The above exercise is directed to be completed well

6. With the above observation/direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
