Case No. 122 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the FIR and later on on the basis of confessional statement in another case he has been remanded in this case and it further appears that he is accused in three other cases of similar nature.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that except confession there is nothing against him and he is in custody since 17.7.2019 and charge sheet has already been submitted, as such there is no chance of tampering with the evidence.

In view of above facts and circumstances, let

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7228 of 2020(2) dt.06-02-2020 2/2 petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M., Raxaul, Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Palanwa P.S. Case No. 122 of 2018 on the condition that he has to appear in police station of his local area in second week of every month for a period of six months, so that the police may watch his activities, otherwise his bail bonds shall be cancelled. Let a copy of this order be sent to the Superintendent of Police, East Champaran for needful.
