In this case, the petitioner is husband, is seeking bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 58(C)/2012 registered for offence under section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 18th July 2014.
