The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 392 and 395 of the Indian Penal Code.
The informant alleged that three persons intercepted him and at the point of pistol he was robbed his ATM card, voter identity card, PAN card and wallet amounting to Rs. 1330/-. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of Niraj Kumar Singh @ Kanchan. The petitioner was arrested and he is also said to have confessed his guilt, but nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail since 31.03.2015, but has not been put on test identification parade.
