JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 25-10-2018 The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/ order/direction for commanding the respondents to make payment of the balance amount (Rupees 928951 along with interest thereon for the delayed period) of the petitioner against the contract work executed by him in connection with F2 Agreement No. 133/2011-12 dt. 26.3.2012 entered into between the petitioner and the Govt. of Bihar through the Executive Engineer, Rural Works Department, Sitamarhi Division 2 (Pupari) for the construction of a culvert near the House of one Ram Pukar Singh on the Dumra- Nanaura Baluaa Road within the Belsund Block of Sitamarhi District under the "Mukhya Mantri Setu Nirman Yojana".

In view of the nature of the prayer made by the petitioner herein, it would be appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to represent before the respondent no.2 within a period of four weeks' from today and in

Patna High Court CWJC No.1157 of 2018 (2) dt.25-10-2018 2 /2 case such a representation is filed, the respondent no.2 shall dispose of the same by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks thereafter. It is further directed that the admitted dues found outstanding for payment to the petitioner shall be paid within a period of eight weeks of the passing of the order, failing which, the same shall carry an interest of 18% per annum.

The present writ petition is disposed of on the aforesaid terms..
