After five long years of the decision of the Regional Office, Central Board of Secondary Education, Patna, the petitioner has approached this Court. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submits that there is bona fide mistake in the title name of father of the petitioner as instead of Rajesh Kumar Sinha, it has wrongly been written as Rajesh Kumar Singh.

Patna High Court CWJC No.5543 of 2021(2) dt.08-04-2021 2/3 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents is correct in his submission that petitioner has approached this Court after five long years of the decision and as such, the matter should be decided taking into consideration the delay aspect in filing the present writ application.

The grievance of the petitioner is only correction in the title name of his father, hence, the present writ application is confined only to the correction to the extent that name of father of the petitioner should be corrected as Rajesh Kumar Sinha instead of Rajesh Kumar Singh.

In the facts of this case, the present writ application is allowed.

The petitioner is directed to deposit Rs. 5000/- as cost before the Regional Office, Central Board of Secondary Education, Patna Region, Patna along with a copy of this order within a period of one month from today. On such deposit, the Regional Office thereafter

Patna High Court CWJC No.5543 of 2021(2) dt.08-04-2021 3/3 shall treat the case of the petitioner as an exceptional case, take corrective measure and do the needful within a further period of three months from the date of filing of such application before it.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ application stands disposed off.
