The petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 948 of 2019 Chainpur P.S. Case No. 437 of 2019 for the offenses under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. In the instant case total 19.440 ltrs of foreign liquor was recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 23.12.2019.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6937 of 2020(2) dt.04-02-2020 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge III cum Special Judge (Excise), Kaimur at Bhabua, in connection with Excise Case No. 948 of 2019 arising out of Chainpur P.S.
