Mr.Parmeshwar Mehta ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE DR. ANSHUMAN ORAL ORDER 19-04-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioners are apprehending arrest in connection with Ghoghardiha P.S. Case No. 73 of 2023 registered on 03.05.2023 lodged under Sections 409/420/34 of the I.P.C.

3. As per the prosecution case, F.I.R. has been lodged against 20 named accused persons including the petitioners

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13844 of 2024(3) dt.19-04-2024 2/3 against whom there is an allegation of defalcation of the Government money.

4. Counsel further submits that petitioners are innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that petitioners are having clean antecedent. Counsel further submit that vide order dated 12.03.2024, a direction was made to the District Magistrate concerned to file a counter affidavit with respect to the claim of the petitioners that they have completed their work sincerely and interim protection was granted. Counsel submits that Counter affidavit has been filed. has been filed.

5. Upon perusal of the Report, it transpires to this Court that vide Annexure-A of the report, work has been completed.

6. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

7. As such, considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioners be released on bail in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 30,000/- (thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief
