Mr.Rishi Raj Sinha (SC-19) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-03-2019 The petitioner has a grievance that the sale deed executed in his favour is not being registered by the Registrar on the basis that the land which is subject matter of the sale deed has been included in restricted list i.e., the lands in respect of which such transactions are prohibited. It is the petitioner's case that neither the said document is being registered nor the registration amount is being returned by the Registrar. The petitioner has filed representation before the District Collector/District Registrar for necessary correction in the list of restricted lands.
In my opinion, the petitioner has statutory remedy
Patna High Court CWJC No.4312 of 2019(2) dt.06-03-2019 2/2 under Bihar Right to Grievance Redressal Act, 2015, which he could have invoked by making an appropriate application. In the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to invoke the said provision of law. The representation made before the District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari, a copy of which has been filed by way of annexure to the writ application does not show whether the same has been duly received by the office of the Collector or not. If the application is pending, the District Magistrate will be required to dispose it of within reasonable time.
This application stands disposed of.
