The petitioner seeks bail in Kasim Bazar P.S. Case No. 60 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
The informant alleged that while he was returning from Civil Court, Munger eight persons including the petitioner surrounded him and his mother. On the order of the petitioner, Shankar Pandit opened fire which hit on the chest of mother of the informant. There is no allegation of firing against the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail since 29.04.2014.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner is not the assailant and he is in jail for more than seven
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42304 of 2014 (3) dt.16-02-2015 2/2 months, he is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri R.R. Santosh Kumar, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Munger in connection with Kasim Bazar P.S. Case No. 60 of 2014.
