2. This writ application has been filed for issuance of a direction upon the Vice Chancellor, Lalit Narayan Mithla University, Darbhanga (Respondent No. 4) to consider the application dated 27.09.2023 which has been filed by the petitioners for payment of salary with effect from 19.03.1981.

3. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners that case of the petitioners is fully covered by the judgment of this Hon'ble Court dated 29.08.2024 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 19683 of 2018 and analogous case and order dated 07.10.2024 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 19194 of 2018.

4. In view of the limited nature of prayer made on behalf of the petitioners, the Vice Chancellor, Lalit Narayan Mithla University, Darbhanga (Respondent No. 4) is directed to consider the case of the petitioners in light of the judgment of this Court dated 29.08.2024 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 19683 of 2018 and analogous case and order dated 07.10.2024 passed in

Patna High Court CWJC No.3187 of 2024(2) dt.17-10-2024 3/3 C.W.J.C. No. 19194 of 2018 and dispose of the application of the petitioners dated 27.09.2023, as expeditiously as possible.

5. It is made clear that this Court does not express any opinion on the merits of the case.

6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ application stands disposed of.
