The petitioner seeks bail in complaint case no. 36C of 2013 registered for the offence under Section 498-A and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The wife of the petitioner made allegation for demand of dowry and torture.

It appears that there was reconciliation between the wife and husband and a sum of Rs. 6,50,000/- was fixed for settlement of petition, but the petitioner was in jail and he made prayer for releasing on bail, so that he make payment.

Considering the facts that the petitioner is in jail for about two months, he is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45712 of 2015 (2) dt.01-10-2015 2/2 amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa at Nalanda in connection with complaint case no. 36C of 2013.
