JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-05-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.That, this writ application on behalf of the sole petitioner aforesaid is directed for issuance of mandamus for commanding the respondent to remove the encroachment from public land pertaining to Khata No 142, Plot No. 1259 Thana NO 205, Situated in Mauza Jagarnath which is recorded as

Patna High Court CWJC No.2403 of 2024(2) dt.02-05-2024 2/2 Gairmajarua Devetur (Gairmajarua Aam) and for removing the encroachment vide Encroachment Case No. 16 of 2022-23 has already been instituted."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the District Magistrate, Gopalganj to enquire into the matter and ensure that the encroachment in question is removed, by ensuring that the proceedings of the Encroachment Case No. 16 of 2022-23 is taken to its logical conclusion, in accordance with law, forthwith. It is directed accordingly.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
