A statement to such effect is made at paragraph-9 and 10 of the supplementary show cause filed today.
It is stated by Mr. Aditya Prakash Sahay, learned counsel for the Corporation that a sum of Rs. 25,39,285.40 has been paid vide cheque to the petitioner, a copy of which is enclosed at Annexure-D and its receipt is present at Annexure-E.
In the circumstances set forth, no cause for keeping the contempt petition pending is made out which is accordingly disposed of.
