Mr. Standing Counsel (11) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJIV ROY ORAL ORDER 15-04-2026 Mr. Dhananjay Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be removing the defect as pointed out by the office.

2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

"(i) for direction to the respondent authorities to make sufficient, adequate and satisfactory payment as compensation for acquired land -cum- building with compound interest to the petitioner as per the new rules of

Patna High Court CWJC No.5176 of 2024(2) dt.15-04-2026 2/3 land acquisition in the light of Rate Chart of Bihar Govt. especially in the District of Saran, Chapra.

In view of the facts of the land with house of petitioner has been acquired for construction of Sherpur Dighwara Ring Road under Mauza Mirpur Bhuwal bearing Plot No.

273 and 283 in which the notice for land -cumbuilding was given but payment has been ascertained at lower rate which is quite illegal and wrong in the eye of law which must be ascertained as for To provide any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled for.Plot No. 273 as Rs. 1200/- and for Plot No. 283 as Rs. 1150/- per feet accordingly.

(ii) to take immediate step for providing the compensation as per the rate of New Chart with compound interest on delay payment.

(iii) to provide the compensation RFCTLARR ACT, 2013.

(iv) to impose heavy cost upon erring authority.

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be approaching the Collector, Saran at Chapra (respondent no.3) for the redressal of the grievance.

4. Learned State counsel has no objection to it.

5. In that background, granting said liberty, the writ petition is disposed of.
