25-03-2015 Heard Surendra Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The petitioner, who was, at the relevant time, Panchayat Secretary and is in custody in connection with Kursakanta P.S. Case No.92 of 2014 registered for the offence under Sections 406,409, 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code, has prayed for grant of bail.
It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in this case chargesheet has already been submitted and F.I.R. is for offence under Sections 406,409, 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code. He submits that the petitioner is in custody since 25.06.2014.
Keeping in view the period of custody, let the petitioner, namely, Shiv Lal Mandal be enlarged on bail on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42440 of 2014 (4) dt.25-03-2015 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- ( ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri S.K.Sanjay, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Araria in connection with Kursakanta P.S. Case No.92 of 2014 with a condition that one of the bailors must be blood relation of the petitioner.
