Petitioner grievance in the present writ application is inaction on the part of the licensing authority. Petitioner has approached the District Magistrate, Bhojpur for grant of his Arms License in the year 2015. We are in 2019 and four years has gone by now the respondents have not taken decision one way or the other for grant of license on the application of the petitioner.

Considering the facts that four years have passed the Court directs the respondent District Magistrate, Bhojpur to take appropriate decision on the application of the petitioner for

Patna High Court CWJC No.1248 of 2018(2) dt.24-04-2019 2/2 grant of license within a maximum period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the present writ application stands disposed of.
