Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Town (Ratanpur O.P.) P.S. Case No. 615/2022 registered under section 30(a), 32(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is recovery of 111.24 litre foreign liquor and also the petitioner is in custody since 17.01.2023.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9245 of 2023(2) dt.03-05-2023 2/2 Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released after completion of one year in custody and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge Excise Court 1st Begusarai in connection with Town (Ratanpur O.P.) P.S. Case No. 615/2022.

The petitioner will visit Begusarai police station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
