Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt. Anita Kumari Singh, the learned APP for the State. The present petition is by way of 3rd attempt at the behest of the petitioner for grant of regular bail inasmuch as the earlier bail petitions filed by the petitioner for grant of regular bail were dismissed by this Court by an order dated 19.12.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 58276 of 2017 and order dated 29.06.2018 passed in Cr, Misc. No. 29463 of 2018 in connection with Kanti P.S. Case No. 220 of 2017 for the offence punishable
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14353 of 2020(3) dt.09-06-2020 2/2 under Sections 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner, who is the husband of the deceased victim lady, has been alleged to have killed his wife on account of non- fulfillment of demand for dowry.
The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 16.02.2018 and is having a clean antecedent.
Per contra, the learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
I have considered the facts and circumstances of the case and this Court finds that there is no change in circumstances, hence the present petition stands dismissed. However, the trial is directed to be expedited. (Mohit Kumar Shah, J) Tiwary/- U T
