It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that though an application was filed on 17.08.2013 before the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur for grant of arms licence, but no decision has been taken as yet.

Accordingly, I dispose of the writ application directing the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to take a decision upon the application of the petitioner on its own merit and in accordance with law also considering the decision rendered in Manish Kumar Vrs. State of Bihar and other analogous cases [AIR 2016 Patna 9]
