JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 03-02-2023 Heard Mr. Raj Krishan Jha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. Nutan Sahay, learned AC to AAG-12 for the State through video conferencing.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that rent receipt of Plot No. 28 situated at Chimnighat to Manaram Ke Posta (Darmiyahi Ghat, Patna), is not being issued to the petitioner since March, 2009. He further submits that earlier the rent receipt was being issued for the subject land since 1974-75 by the Circle Office, Patna.

A counter affidavit has been filed by the State stating therein that the records of the land in question and similar land adjoining to Ganga bed has been transferred to Sonepur

Patna High Court CWJC No.2489 of 2018(2) dt.03-02-2023 2/2 Circle in the Saran District. As such, needful action in this regard may be taken by the office of the Sonepur Circle, District Saran and petitioner may approach the Sonepur Circle, District Saran for redressal of his grievance.

In view of the stand taken in the counter affidavit, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a representation before the Sonepur Circle, District Saran, for redressal of his grievance which will be considered in accordance with law by the concerned authority.
