The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, it is stated by the informant that the petitioner who happens to be his driver fled away with his laptop and a bag containing Rs.33.95 lacs. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case for the reason that being the driver of the informant he was making demand for his arrears of salary. Instead of making payment of the same, the informant implicated him in this false case. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 3.10.2020. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year and not having any criminal antecedent, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Danapur P.S. Case no.907 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate 1st, Danapur, District Patna.
