JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 02-05-2023 Heard Mr. Vijay Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Amitabh Sohan, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

2. Petitioner has filed the present writ application for payment of remaining amount of gratuity (Rs.10 lacs) and earned leave with applicable rate of interest.

3. The Registrar, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner within a period of three weeks and make payment of all the admitted

Patna High Court CWJC No.2157 of 2023(2) dt.02-05-2023 2/2 retiral dues i.e. remaining amount of gratuity (Rs.10 lacs) and earned leave with applicable rate of interest.

4. The Registrar must take note of the fact that all the dues which have not been paid to the petitioner are admitted dues and therefore he must not take any technical plea to delay the payment, not beyond a period of four weeks.

5. The petitioner, if so advised, may file a detailed representation within the aforesaid period.

6. The Registrar is directed to communicate to the petitioner at his own level that all the due amount payable to the petitioner have been paid in his account.

7. With the above observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
