Petitioners are in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 648 of 2018 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case, it is alleged that 72 liters of liquor was seized from the possession of the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are in custody since 7.11.2018.

Considering the fact that petitioners have no criminal

No.9418 of 2019(2) dt.18-02-2019 2/2 antecedent and they have remained in custody for nearly three months, let the petitioners, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, East Champaran at Motihari, in connection with Excise Case No. 648 of 2018.
