The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 141, 142, 143, 151, 152, 283, 323, 353, 427 & 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.

While the informant got an information that an electrician has died due to electrocution he proceeded and saw a person hanging on electric pole. When the police team tried to take down the dead body, in the meantime, local people became furious and violent. They started blocking road in the leadership of husband of Sarpanch of Madhuri Panchayat. They also damaged the police vehicle. Petitioner along with others is said

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10070 of 2020(2) dt.02-03-2020 2/2 to have damaged the curtail of the police jeep. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no such occurrence as alleged ever took place. He has been falsely implicated in this case by the police. The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. He has no criminal antecedent. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the S.D.J.M., West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Mainatand P.S. Case No. 100 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
