The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 283 of 2022 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 342, 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the POCSO Act.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 28.08.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 40531 of 2023 with an observation to learned trial court to conclude the trial expeditiously. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10715 of 2024(3) dt.20-03-2024 2/2 with regard to present stage of trial dated 16th February, 2024 has been received and the same is kept at flag 'A'. From its perusal it appears that the trial would be concluded within a period of 3-4 months.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within four months, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
