2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 129 of 2023 registered on 12.05.2023 lodged under Sections 25(1-B)a/26/35 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, F.I.R. has been lodged against three named accused persons including the petitioner against whom there is an allegation that there is recovery of one country made pistol and one live cartridges.

4. Counsel further submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He further submits that petitioner is in custody since 13.05.2023 having no criminal case pending against him

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13843 of 2024(3) dt.19-04-2024 2/2 for bail and submits that one earlier occasion, progress report has been called for and upon perusal of the progress report, it seems that trial is likely to be concluded within three months.

7. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the bail application of the petitioner is hereby rejected at present. (Dr. Anshuman, J) Sunnykr/- U
