The petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Case No. 601 of 2019 arising out of Kumarkhand P.S. Case No. 71 of 2019 for the offenses under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. In the instant case total 59 ltrs of foreign liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 18.12.2019. Considering the fact that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
