2. The present petition has been preferred for the following reliefs:
(i) for issuance of appropriate writ directing the respondent No. 4 to allow the petitioner to present necessary documentary evidence in support of his claim with respect to land describe in notice dated 01/04/2016 (Annexure-1) issued by the respondent no.-4 in Land Verification Case No 12/2016-17 and further direction to the Respondent No.- 4 to pass necessary order after considering and hearing the claim of petitioner;
(ii) for issuance of appropriate
Patna High Court CWJC No.5478 of 2018(2) dt.06-05-2024 2/2 writ /order/direction to the respondents to take appropriate steps for making the payment of compensation along with interest thereon with respect to acquisition of the Land of the petitioner.
3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents detailing out the reason for rejecting the claim of the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if he is granted liberty to approach the Revenue Officer in the light of Annexure-3.
5. The said liberty is always available to a citizen, much less the petitioner.
6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
