The petitioner is in custody in connection with POCSO Case No. 24 of 2016, arising out of Mahila P.S. Case No. 32 of 2016, for the offence under Section 376(G) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act. Earlier the prayer for grant of bail was rejected by this Court vide order dated 06.04.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 9116 of 2017. Thereafter, the prayer for grant of bail of the petitioner was further rejected by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 03.04.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 20247 of 2019. While rejecting the prayer for bail, the court below is directed to expedite the hearing of trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of nine months, but the trial is not concluded as yet.

No.8759 of 2020(3) dt.09-07-2020 2/2 Accordingly, the present bail application is disposed of with a direction to the court below to conclude the trial within a period of six months, failing which the court below shall release the petitioner on appropriate terms and conditions to ensure early disposal of the case.
