JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 24-04-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). To direct the respondent authorities to expeditiously take appropriate action against responsible authorities/officials concerned who deprived the petitioner for appearing in Compartmental Examination for intermediate (Science Stream)-2017 with gross negligence.

(ii). To also direct the respondent authorities to properly appreciate the report of respondent no. 4

Patna High Court CWJC No.16487 of 2017(2) dt.24-04-2023 2/2 regarding the subject matter which has already been reflected the whole episode.

(iii) To further direct the concerned respondents to compensate the petitioner's wards who have already lost their chance which could not be returnable. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the ViceChancellor, J.P. University, Chapra, for taking appropriate action against the defaulting Principal and other officials. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the Vice-Chancellor, J.P. University, Chapra, shall enquire into the matter, fixed responsibility and take appropriate action, if not already taken, against the erring Principal and officials concerned, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
