Petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "I. For a direction to the respondents to ensure appropriate action in the matter of financial

Patna High Court CWJC No.4773 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/3 irregularities as well as other irregularities committed in the Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Nalanda, deemed University under Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

II. For a direction to the respondent no. 8 to ensure institution of FIR in relation to the irregularities committed in the Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Nalanda (respondent no. 5) to conduct investigation and take the said investigation to a logical conclusion.

III. For a direction to the respondent no. 1 to immediately remove the present Vice Chancellor of the Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Nalanda, deemed University under Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Professor Rajesh Ranjan who has been recently appointed as the Registrar of the said University as they are instrumental in the irregularities committed in the University and mismanagement of the affairs of the University.

IV. For a direction to the respondent no. 8 to investigate the issue of obtaining degree by Professor Rajesh Ranjan fraudulently and getting employment in respondent no. 5 on the basis of such fraudulently obtained degree and to lodge appropriate cases for such a fraudulent act."

After the matter was heard for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner shall be content if a direction is issued to the Hon'ble Chancellor of Nava Nalanda Mahavihara University, Nalanda, to consider and decide the representation, which he shall be making within a period of two weeks from today.
