04. 24.09.2015 Learned Counsel for the Petitioner is permitted to make correction in Paragraph 20 of the application. The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 11.08.2015 passed by the Sessions Judge, Nawada in Criminal Appeal No. 10 of 2014, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 28.02.2014 passed by the Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Nawada in C-284 of 2002/Tr. No. 110 of 2014, by which he has convicted the Petitioner under Section 498A IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and sentenced him to undergo R.I. for two years and six months respectively.

Having considered the merits of the case, I am unable to find any infirmity in the impugned judgment. However, considering the period of custody, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by the Petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.781 of 2015 (2) dt.24-09-2015 The Petitioner shall be further released on deposit of Rs. 5,000/- (Five Thousand) which shall be payable to the Complainant. The Court below shall notice the Complainant about the deposit of the said amount and pay the same to her when she appears after having satisfied itself with regard to her identification.

With the aforesaid observations, the Application stands dismissed.
