JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 13-07-2023 Heard Mr. Gajendra Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Binod Kr. Yadav, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

2. The petitioner is aggrieved for non-payment of G.P.F. and Group Insurance. The petitioner seeks to file detail representation before the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Patna for payment of group insurance and for payment of provident fund. The petitioner also seeks to approach the District Provident Fund Officer, Patna.

3. The Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Patna and the District Provident fund Officer, Patna must ensure that payments on account of group insurance and provident fund are paid to the petitioner within a period of six weeks.

4. The District Provident fund Officer, Patna must ensure to obtain all the deduction statement from the regular places of posting of the petitioner.

5. The Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Patna is further directed to get all the requisite formalities to be done with respect to filling up of the form etc. by entrusting a competent Officer, who will get the requisite forms filled up, so that prompt payment can be made to the petitioner within the aforesaid period along with statutory interest till the date of payment.

6. With the above observation and direction the writ petition stands disposed of.
