The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Habibpur (Bhagalpur) P.S.Case No.33 of 2019, G.R.No.748 of 2019 registered for offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Petitioner happens to be husband of the informant and there is allegation of demand as well as torture. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has already remained in custody for eight months and ready to co-operate in disposal of the trial. Having heard both sides and in view of submissions as made above and considering the fact that he is in custody for eight months, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Bhagalpur in connection with Habibpur (Bhagalpur) P.s.Case no.33 of 2019 in G.R. No.748 of 2019.
With the above direction, this application is allowed.
