Petitioner being husband of the informant is languishing in jail custody since 25.06.2015 in a case registered under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the prosecution case itself, the marriage of the informant with the petitioner was solemnized in the year 2009, whereas informant was ousted from her matrimonial home in the year 2015. Moreover, the impugned order reveals that the informant refused to go to her matrimonial home on the pretext that she might be killed by the petitioner and her family members. .
