JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 25-02-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 03 of 2020, arising out of P.R. No. 36 of 2019-20, registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Allegation is of recovery of 96 litres of liquor from a car and petitioner was arrested from there.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he was only a passenger and he has nothing to do with the car and seized article and he is in custody since 1.1.2020, having no criminal antecedent.

Heard learned APP also.

In view of above facts and circumstances, let petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8286 of 2020(2) dt.25-02-2020 2/2 Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, Kaimur at Bhabua, in connection with Excise Case No. 3 of 2020, arising out of P.R.
