The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 307 & other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, this petitioner inflicted knife blow leading to bleeding from jaw of the informant. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that on the eve of Holika Dahan, an altercation took place between the parties, in which, informant sustained injury. The injuries are simple in nature. There is no allegation of repetition of knife blow against this petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
