2. The learned State Counsel is filing counter affidavit.

4. This application has been preferred for following reliefs:

(i) to issue an appropriate order/

Patna High Court CWJC No. 2779 of 2020(2) dt.14-09-2023 2/2 orders, direction/ directions including a writ preferably in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to appoint the petitioner to the post of class IV employée on compassionate ground taking into the consideration that his father died in harness on 15.08.2016;

(ii) to direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner with regard to the appointment against class IV post on compassionate ground as such in family members have made consent in favour of the petitioner also having no objection if appointment is made to him.

5. The petitioner wants appointment on compassionate ground which is being opposed by his own brother and the State Counsel in its counter affidavit has stated that the petitioner has filed false affidavit suppressing material facts and he has also not given the correct number of his family members and in that backdrop, his case cannot be considered.

6. Be that as it may, since no one has appeared on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
