2. As per the stamp report, defect no. 6(1), the memo of appeal is required to be converted into Criminal Appeal (SJ) in view of the quantum of sentence. The Stamp Reporter has suggested that it may be done by way of supplementary affidavit.

It appears from the records that learned counsel for the appellant has made correction in the description of the case written in the synopsis and the first page of the memo of appeal and the word 'DB' has been cut down and the word 'SJ' has been written. This Court is, therefore, of the view that the correction be accepted and there would be no need to file a
