The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Spl. Ex. 2485 of 2021 arising out of Kothi P.S. Case No. 83 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a), of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 05.12.2021, is a person of clean antecedent, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and allegation is of recovery of 171 liters of liquor from Vehicle (Magic) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner being owner and driver of the vehicle was not knowing who had kept a liquor when the vehicle was parked at

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 05.12.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and is a person with clean antecedent, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise No. 3, Gaya in connection with Kothi P.S.
