Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P. for the State and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raghunathpur PS Case No. 179 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1), 61(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 27 of the Arms Act. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this is the second attempt of the petitioner to seek regular bail. It is next submitted that petitioner had earlier moved before this Court seeking regular bail by filing Cr. Misc No. 35637 of 2025 and the same came to be rejected by an order dated 6-8-2025. It

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7592 of 2026(2) dt.23-04-2026 2/2 is further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 23-122024. 4.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant submits that petitioner is the assailant of the son of the informant and the trial has commenced and out of 10 prosecution witnesses, 7 prosecution witnesses have been examined.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to rebut the said submission of the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant.

Considering the submission made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant, the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
