The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1300 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 406 and 494 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner no. 1 is the husband and petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are sister-in-law and mother-in-law of the complainant respectively. It is further submitted that the petitioners had earlier compromised the matter and petitioner no. 1 was living peacefully with his wife but all of a sudden she again fled away from the joint family and
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.43668 of 2014 (2) dt.27-03-2015 2/2 wanted to live separately on the one pretext or the other. It is further submitted that petitioner no. 1 is willing to keep the complainant with full dignity and honour and there shall be no untoward incident so as to occasion any mental torture. Considering the aforesaid submissions and the fact that the petitioner is ready to keep the complainant with full dignity and honour, let the petitioners above named , in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Complaint Case No. 1300 of 2014 corresponding to Trial No. 5294 of 2014 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C..
