The petitioners filed this petition for modification of the order dated 25.09.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59373 of 2019 and to extend the period of surrender of the petitioners in the court below.
The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners were granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 25.09.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 59373 of 2019 with a direction to the petitioners to surrender in the court below within four weeks from the date of receipt of the order but the petitioners could not surrender in the court below as the petitioners are illiterate and they could not understand the order
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11436 of 2021(2) dt.17-02-2021 2/2 of the court but it appears that petitioners were granted anticipatory bail and they could not surrender in the court below within the stipulated time. The petitioners filed this petition for modification for extending the period of surrender but I do not find any reason to extend such benefit to such erring people who avoided to surrender in the court even after grant of anticipatory bail.
