2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):
"for issuance of writ of Mandamus commanding the respondents to register the sale deed dt. 4.08.2016 produced by the petitioner for registration in accordance with law as provided by the Registration Act and the Judicial pronouncement of the superior court in this regard and for grant of any other relief/s as deemed fit and proper."

3. A counter-affidavit has come on behalf of the District Sub-Registrar, Khagaria (respondent no. 4), according to which, the land being under the category of Gairmajarua aam, has been placed in the prohibited list and realizing the same, the petitioner herself submitted a petition before the concerned respondent with a request to return their document/challan. (Annexure-2 to the petition).
4. He submits that in that background, the writ has become infructuous.
5. Be that as it may, since there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
